Description
Infrastructure Engineer with strong VMWare Cloud experience and current and live SC Clearance is required to join a project with a well renowned employer based in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
This Infrastructure Engineer role will see you supporting on-prem production grade cloud IaaS services offerings across a number of hosted solutions and environments. We are looking for experience in VMWare Cloud Foundation (VCF), ideally on Dell VxRail, and experience with both High Level Designs and Low Level Designs.
Core Technologies Required:
- VMware technology on Hyper converged infrastructure (Specifically VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) SDDC Manager, vCenter, ESXi, NSX, vSAN, vRealize on Dell VxRail)
- High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD)
- Data Centre Networking (specifically VMWare NSX, Cisco Nexus Spine/Leaf and Cisco ACI)
- Configuration and change management
- Vendor liaison, coordination and management
This Infrastructure Engineer contract will has a high likelihood of a long extension thereafter.
Please note, you must have live SC Clearance to be considered for this Infrastructure Engineer contract and be able to work on site in Portsmouth 4-5 days per week. We cannot put anyone through SC Clearance for this role.
