Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Somerset based client for an IT Engineer to support a growing number of their clients on an interim basis. Due to the high volume of work secured across the county, management is keen to expand the team and provide training/qualifications to contractors with the intention of opening permanent opportunities in 3- 6 months' time (should that be of interest).
Job Title: IT Engineer
Location: Taunton, Somerset
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months initially (strong likelihood of permanent employment*)
Rate: £15.70 per hour (Umbrella)
*Must have a driving license and access to a vehicle*
Skillset:
. Hardware, equipment and software installations
. Active Directory and adding, removing users, user rights/access
. Windows 10 Upgrades
. Wi-Fi installations
. 2nd Line specialist support
. Support and installing IT infrastructure and devices
. Effective ICT fault resolution and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
. MS Server configuration
. Networking
. Schools IT experience
* Permanent employment opportunities available after 3- 6 months of successful contract
