Description

I am looking for a 3rd Line Cloud Engineer with strong AWS experience, to join an established NOC team who continue to grow their client portfolio.

You will be expected to:

  • Act as a point of 3rd Line technical escalation, demonstrating AWS cloud expertise
  • Ensure all implemented solutions are supported with up to date documentation, training and expertise within the Technical Support areas.
  • Recognise when to escalate potential service issues to senior management
  • Recommend and deploy changes via the change management process as and when required
  • Provide technical assistance to on-going projects and the on-boarding of new customers when required

Skills/Experience required:

  • A minimum of 3 year's experience in a SLA driven support role
  • Proven commercial experience and in-depth knowledge around AWS cloud solution
  • Experienced in ITIL best practices desirable (Ideally holding an ITIL Foundation certification)
  • It is essential that you have proven knowledge/experience in the following technologies (Certification would be an advantage):

- Windows Server   
- Active Directory (Core AD Services, DNS, DHCP, GPO, AD Replication)
- Identity Management

  • Microsoft - AD Connect, ADFS, WAP, MFA
  • AWS - IAM, AD Connector, MFA
  • Commercial experience with Cloud Technologies is absolutely essential; ideally an SME in AWS or Azure and strong knowledge of the other:
  • AWS

- EC2, S3, VPC & Route 53
- Elastic Beanstalk, Lamda
- Security, Identity, & Compliance
- AWS Workspaces
- AWS Backup & CloudEndure
- PowerShell and Scripting is essential

  • Office 365

- Exchange on-line, Teams, SharePoint, Skype for Business, OneDrive, Intune.
