VDI Support Engineer
Financial Sector
Dublin City Centre
6 Month Day Rate Contract, potential to extend
The Engineer will work on our client's End User Technology Program - VDI rollout, Windows 10 physical and hybrid VDI solution, Office 365, MS Teams End User Experience, Telephony and Salesforce Integration projects.
Responsibilities:
- Knowing the application technology stack and how it relates to VDI
- Troubleshooting issues - builds and application configuration issues on VDI
- Participation/support in the VDI rollout
- Engage with the Windows Deployment Teams
- Participate in strategic discussions for solution architecture and design
Qualifications:
Problem Solver with a passion for IT.
The following are desirable:
- Industry-specific certification
- 4- 5 years proven technical relevant experience in an enterprise organisation
- Subject matter expertise in migrations between Exchange 2010, Exchange 2016 and Exchange online, including shared mailboxes
- Extensive experience working with different technologies including Windows 10 and Office 365, Citrix and VDI
- Experience working with solution architects, project managers and developers
- Applies creativity in solving problems and issues
Desirable
- Broad IT background, including Desktop Rollouts and Support, development/solution analysis and operational support
