On behalf of our client, an international finance institute located in Prague, we are looking for an external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:
IFS Quality Assurance Engineer (f/m/x) financial area Prague - P525
We are looking for a highly motivated QA Engineer (contractor) to join our clients Investment Funds IT team in Prague.
Your responsibilities include designing test scenarios and running functional tests on our Investment Funds systems.
You would be joining a dynamic, cross-functional team composed of functional analysts, developers, architects and quality assurance analysts delivering a portfolio of world-class products.
The role includes:
- Design functional test cases based on requirement specification
- Test cases execution & automation
- Share functional and technical knowledge in the team
- Raise and triage defects and issues
- Track and report test results
- Support business testers
- Share best practices and improve processes within and across product teams
Required skills and experience:
- Experience in Quality Assurance procedures
- Ability to triage failures, identify root-causes, and define corrective actions/solutions
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Excellent team spirit and communication skills
- Willingness to share ideas, knowledge and experience with team members
- Highly committed to challenging deadlines, curious and motivated
- Comfortable collaborating with other team members eg PM, developers, QAs, etc.
- Use initiative to resolve problems, willingness to learn
- Solution oriented, able to set priorities and deliver under periods of higher stress
Beneficial working experience or knowledge:
- Software testing certificate
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks
- Financial markets/Investment Funds overview
- Awareness of Quality Assurance supporting software tools
- Technical skills eg SQL queries, XSD and XML transformation, SWIFT standards etc.

- Start date of assignment: February 2021
- Initial contract duration: Q1 with possible extensions until the end of the year
- Degree of employment: Full-time
- Location: Prague
- This position can be done remotely with occasional visits of the team if needed.
