Please note that due to the nature of this role, active and enhanced SC Clearance is required before the role can commence. The turnaround for this is approx. 3-4 months but may take longer. All applicants must have resided in the UK for at least 3 out of the past 5 years in order to be eligible to undergo the SC Clearance requirements.
Our government client is looking for an Agile Software Development Project Manager to play a key role in the agile project delivery team, providing project management capability and deliverables to ensure that work undertaken by a 3rd party supplier is properly attributed and completed to a sufficient quality.
We are interested in receiving applications from Project Managers with the following specific skill set (this MUST be evidenced on your CV):
- Project Management of Agile Software Development undertaken by 3rd party suppliers (agile software development NOT infrastructure projects).
- Programme delivery knowledge of Oracle, JAVA, REDHAT, Angular, Bootstrap, NEO4J, Elastic Sharepoint to lead Agile practitioners.
- Understand, articulate and leverage agile project management methods, for 3rd party agile software development.
- Excellent entrepreneurial mindset, to allow to think beyond the project deliverables and enhance the resourcefulness of the wider programme and project team members.
- A sound balance of technical and business knowledge as a hybrid manager, enabling effective communication between technical and business people, providing the translation for business people on technical matters.
- MSP, PRINCE 2
- ITIL methods and Change Management
