Contract Technical Architect (Salesforce) up to £600 p/day - Ecommerce
I'm pleased to announce we're working in partnership with a leading, global fashion retailer, looking for a Technical Architect to help with the architecture and implementation of the Digital platform in the EMEA, Middle East & LATAM region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of eCommerce development on the SalesForce Commerce Cloud platform as well as IBM OMS & (B2C) eCommerce software development and a deep knowledge of software development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for architecture and implementation of digital projects for the EMEA&LATAM region to ensure on time and high-quality delivery of consumer-facing experiences
- Work with the various EMEA&LATAM business teams to understand and capture requirements
- Evaluate and design solutions to address business requirements
- Active participation through all phases of the development life cycle.
- Perform code reviews and approvals
- Lead and establish coding best practice
- Work closely with the PM and PMO teams to understand EMEA&LATAM business requirements and design solution to support
- Work with the internal team and system integrators to architect, review and implement Digital initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of overall technology experience in web and Business to Consumer (B2C) eCommerce software development and a deep knowledge of software development methodologies
- Strong awareness of the EMEA&LATAM digital landscape and available technologies in local regions
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external groups
- Knowledge on programming best practices like collective code ownership
- Demandware/Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience required
- Sterling Commerce experience desired
