Embedded Software Engineer

Paratus are making some serious moves with our clients recently and have been asked to assist a number of clients with Embedded Software engineers that have experience with WiFi. The client in question develops a lot of CPE equipment for the leading broadcast providers across mainland Europe. They are looking to add to their list of WiFi developers as the demand has increased dramatically since the beginning of 2021.
We are looking to speak with engineers that have experience in the Embedded space, more importantly the Kernel space that are no stranger to technologies such as WiFi (801.xx) BLE, Zigbee. It would certainly help if you had experience with more protocols within the IoT domain to.
Our client uses a Broadcom chipset, and have asked if possible for this to be reflected in the engineers we provide. However this isn't a deal breaker. Because Broadcom supply their own WiFi code, so any bugs or glitches will be fixed by them. The aim of the role is to be a master of Embedded and be able to work at a system level of a Broadcom chipset within the WiFi space.
Additional benefits would be OpenWRT. However extensive experience with CPE devises is required.

Whilst this position to begin with is FULLY REMOTE, once safe to do so you will be required to go onsite upto 2 days per week in Belgium. Please only apply if you do not require any sponsorship and you are also happy with Belgium.
