DevOps Engineer
IR35 determination: Inside
Level of Security Clearance Required: SC (Active)
Contract: 6 months initially - extending to a year
Day Rate: £/day
Brief:
- Platform Modernisation Project
- Migration of services across to new platform, centralising the client's infrastructure and allowing greater automation and developmental capabilities.
- Continued maintenance is key, as is stakeholder relationship management.
- A DevOps Engineer is required to oversee incidents, meet security standards and maintain service continuity for critical services.
MUST HAVES:
KEY DELIVERABLES
- Ongoing Cloud Hosting Digital Platform (CHDP) Platform critical server maintenance.
- Support Data seeding for Data Replication.
- Set up connectivity between client Data Centre (HODC)and CHDP.
- Ongoing HODC Platform maintenance and upgrades.
- Provide on-call services for the platforms.
Further skills/knowledge required:
- Server maintenance
- Operating and maintaining services within the client's digital estate
- Security patching to maintain Servers
- Live Service Management of digital services, including DDaT approach to service management
- Knowledge of client security standards
- Client and DDaT change management processes
- Client project delivery governance
- Coaching and mentoring
- Knowledge of agile delivery context
