Senior Data Scientist (Digital), London/Remote
6 Month contract via Umbrella/Lots of home based working
We are working with a leading technology business embarking on a large scale customer data science and analytics projects. The role will be working directly with senior leadership team running your own projects from start to finish, including understanding of business needs, data extraction and manipulation, analysis, machine learning predictive modelling, presenting data insight and monitoring of the impact.
This position will give you the opportunity to work with market-leading machine learning technologies to build best-in-class predictive models within a data rich environment.
Requirements:
- Strong experience working across digital channels on customer data.
- Relevant degree from a reputable university/college or equivalent in technical field (eg statistics, mathematics, econometrics or physics)
- Hands-on strong knowledge of data manipulation and modelling languages such as SQL, SAS, R, Python, SPSS or Stata
- Communication skills are key in this one as well as the ability to work well both in a team and alone.
