People Source are currently seeking Skilled DevOps Engineers with a particular persuasion towards AWS to take on a Full time contract with our Defence Client.
You will be Responsible for implementing, supporting and enhancing the software tool environment for Embedded development teams. The Successful candidate will take leadership of maintaining and enhancing existing systems and will work closely with internal and external teams to define and implement best practice in order to progress software solutions from research and development to software suitable for use in mission critical systems.
Your Role will Include:
* Design, implement and test development environments (cloud based and desktop)
* Design, implement and test continuous integration including hardware-in-loop testing
* Develop integration and release workflows with internal and external teams
* Maintain source control, continuous integration and team management tools (ie Gitlab, Atlassian Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket/Bamboo)
* Manage release of software products and development environments
This role is working within UK Defence on critical National Infrastructure projects. As such the Highest Level (DV/Developed Vetting) Clearance must be held prior to any candidate being awarded this contract.
Please Take in to consideration when applying, DV clearance can take 9-12 months to achieve.
In Return:
*Circa £550pd
6 Month initial contracts (likely to extend)
*Wiltshire Base Location
*Flexible/remote working on arrangement
