Description

eSynergy is a technology consultancy delivering business value to our clients across all areas of cloud computing. With the world slowly returning to the new normal our project list is growing; we are currently looking to for a Senior Systems engineer (End user computing) to join our team for a critical project.

Require an experienced Windows 10 engineer to support configuration of cloud managed devices via Microsoft Endpoint manager for a period of 3 - 6 months. A basic implementation has been setup making use of Windows Autopilot, configuration profiles and InTune packaged application deployment. Assistance is required to validate the existing configuration, troubleshoot issues, make recommendations for improvement and enhance the build to cover additional requirements.

  • Review current Win10 configuration profiles and recommend changes
  • Enable remote support for admins to be able to troubleshoot and resolve device issues
  • Ensure configuration allows for remote wipe/reset of devices
  • Produce scripts where configuration profiles don't exist for specific requirements eg disabling access to windows admin tools
  • Configuration of roaming PDNS service (NCSC protective DNS service - specific to government)
  • Packaging and deployment of up to 10 Win 32 apps via endpoint manager (including transforms for some apps)
  • Create autopilot enrolment to allow local admin privileges
  • Work with incumbent supplier to create VPN connectivity to on prem services. Review and challenge design of certificate connection to InTune
  • Work with suppliers to enable cloud Proxy (Zscaler) for Internet access. Ensure compatibility with PDNS
  • Work with suppliers to enable SSO to on premises resources either via AD Connect (preference) or through hybrid join of devices.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure cloud managed devices work when connected from the office (may force need to hybrid join)
