Description
Software Engineer urgently required to work on a 6 month contract.
Location: Swansea/WFH
The ideal candidates will have extensive in Software Development and Application Support working in the Public Sector (Government Digital Services)
Technical skills required
- Application stack knowledge - with experience in Java 7 (and previous versions), Scala, EJB, JDBC, XML, WSDL, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, Struts, Weblogic Application Server, Weblogic Workshop, Oracle, SQL, MongoDB, Dropwizard and Play Framework
- Mainframe knowledge - with experience in Natural, N2O, JCL, Rexx, Adabas, TSO, ISPF, Clist, CICS, TWS, MQ, EntireX, RPC service creation, Cobol, Assembler, FP Printing, FTP and sFTP
- Development/Build tools - with experience in Eclipse IDE, NaturalONE, Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker, Drone, Kubernetes, Cloud technologies, Source Control Management systems including Clearcase and Git
