Asset Manager (SC) - Contract - Somerset - £competitive
Synergize Consulting are now hiring for an Asset Manager to work at a leading defence client based in Somerset on a contract basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining online accounts to enable equipment stored at a secure facility to be managed correctly.
Responsibilities include:
- Receipting, Dispatching and Recording maintenance events.
- Ensure users undertake the correct management actions on returning and receiving items. This will involve liaison with the users via telephone, email or site visits.
- Assessing and completing, where necessary, Failure Reports, and Reject assessments.
- Assist in developing existing and new Applications for users.
Experience required:
- Previous experience in the role of Asset or Inventory Manager would be highly desirable.
- Experience ideally in the defence or central government, and a prior knowledge of defence supply chains.
- Usage of industry ERP systems and online asset management tools
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold, or be eligible and willing to undergo, a certain level of security clearance (SC).
