Description
We are seeking experienced Solutions Architect/DevOps Consultant for a prestigious financial client, based in London. Primarily we are looking for a SA, who can pick up some tasks on the DevOps side as well. A lot of the activities would be going on in parallel so it'd require someone fairly experiences and well-versed in the role. Please note, that working days and hours may differ, due to the end client being based in the United Arab Emirates, we expect the working week will be Sunday to Thursday (Fri/Sat as days off).
The successful Solutions Architect will have to occasionally dial into a 9.00 am call (United Arab Emirates time). This is initial 6 months contract with a view to extend, full -time.
Day to day duties will include:
Solutions Architect
- Gather client infrastructure requirements, restrictions and assumptions(including non-functional requirements)
- Gather info about required integrations and model elements
- Prepare high-level solution architecture and systems configuration document
- Design platform components, backup and testing strategy and PowerBI integration
- Design internal and external end points for accessing data
DevOps
- Define system specific and technology stack requirements
- Design infrastructure as code using relevant tools/framework
- Implement dev pipelines (CI/CD)
- Implement backup, disaster recovery and endpoints
- Prepare platform configuration for client
