Location: Liverpool/Remote
We are currently hiring for a specialist in Microsoft Power Platform (specifically Power Apps) to construct a prototype of a workflow process for an initial 3-6 months contract assignment. The project is Liverpool based however you would have the flexibility to work remotely.
The successful candidate should be eligible for SC Security Clearance.
Technical skills and accountabilities
As a developer you will
Develop apps based on agreed processes in an agile way liaising directly with key business users.
Skills required
Ensure Power Apps architecture and interfaces are aligned to strategic architecture and data principles, and optimise performance, security and scalability.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders and other team members to develop the technical solution.
Identify any technology opportunities and innovations to support business improvements - within and alongside Power Apps.
Deliverables for the specialist:
1.An inspection process prototype (detailed requirements below)
2.An accompanied solution design document
3.Final review of prototype
Job title: Power Apps Developer
The aim of this client project is to improve the way our client works, they want to get the best information they can and make it available to their staff so they can make decisions reliably and consistently. Part of this is developing software tools to support the staff in doing a number of tasks, including automation, collaboration and better storage and sharing of information.
Requirement
The project has completed Phase 1 (Analysis). In this processes have been refined, documented and signed off. One of these processes has been developed into a proof of concept based on Power Platform. This is built heavily on PowerApps with components of Power Automate, PowerBI and CDS.
The project is now in development phase and the requirement is to build robust and intuitive processes based on PowerApps and related technologies.
We are looking for motivated developers who enjoy working in a forward looking and committed team. The ideal candidate must be able to blend excellent technical skills with an inquisitive nature and an ability to interface directly with key business users. They will be able to build their needs into a working product.
We are committed to delivering with an agile approach and experience of agile delivery is a key requirement.
Although we have a wide range of technical requirements these are all within the Microsoft development suite and a broad knowledge in necessary. We expect the candidate to arrive with excellent technical skills and quickly pick up any gaps in their knowledge

Build the prototype based on the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure cloud focusing on Power Apps, keeping in mind stability and the best practices and guidelines that Microsoft offers.

Person specification and experience
You must have:
Experience of using Microsoft Power Apps and the Power Platform to deliver digital services including building model driven and canvas apps within Power Apps and interfacing with other programs in the Microsoft Suite, such as SharePoint online.
A good understanding of how to generate strong, reusable and scaleable configuration design and architecture.
Proven experience of Power Apps Portal and Power Automate.
Ability to quickly research and systematically solve problems

So far for the project, we have built a POC for our regulatory inspection process within the field services module of Dynamics 365.
