18-Month Contract Opportunity for an Assistant Buyer with a Top-Tier Technology Company
My Client, a top-tier technology company, is looking to bring on an Assistant Buyer to work with their category management team.
This individual will be working directly with the successful category management team who are responsible for all of their bricks and mortar, and online products. The successful candidate would be working with them directly and help manage vendor relations, research new product offerings, report back on any new technology trends, and effectively support them on their delivery targets.
Responsibilities:
- Working with category managers for successful delivery of product launches
- Set up of promotions (both online and at physical locations)
- Running and analysing reporting on categories and buying profiles
- Setting up of items on the system
- Working with 3rd party vendors and other sales teams
- Working with marketing and sales teams
Requirements:
- Working as an assistant buyer within a large-scale organisation
- Excellent communicative ability, both written and verbal
- Experience managing and prioritising a large workload remotely
- Experience conducting deep-dive research into new and upcoming tech
