Design Engineer - HVAC - AutoCad/Revit
We are looking for a Junior Design Engineer with specific HVAC experience, someone who is familiar with AutoCad or Revit.
Our client requires a dynamic engineer to support the design team in completing the design deliverables including as built drawings, O&M Manuals and supporting the project managers on site.
The Design Engineer will be the eyes and ears of the design team on site. At this final stage in commissioning there is plenty to do as we snag the contractors works, ensure they have met our requirements, collate information for as-built drawings, update drawings, collate the O&M Manual and support project managers with on site queries. This is the largest GSHP installation in Europe totalling 72.5MW, so we are looking for someone who is a quick learner, shows initiative and is a self starter.
Skills & Experience
- Mechanical Engineering/Building Services degree or equivalent
- Have good understanding of HVAC mechanical system design principles
- Experience in the use of AutoDESK suite of products: Inventor, AutoCad, Revit 3D, Excel
- MATLAB, ABAQUS, Arduino, Python
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage own workload and multi task
You will be based across 3 sites including Coventry (head office), Norwich & Bury St.Edmunds. Expenses will be covered to travel between the sites.
