Enterprise Data Architect - Remote working
£650 per day - contract will be inside IR35 from April
12 month contract
Leading financial services business require an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to support across Data Usability and Analytics, Data Governance and Data Quality projects.
Immediate start, fully remote with potential for some office visits from mid-late 2021 onwards, 12 month contract (the role will go in scope of IR35 from April)
Roles will cover mixture of the following:
Design target architecture for self-service data quality profiling and baselining, standardising and monitoring, swift diagnosis of data quality issues and leading to overall improvement of data quality.
Work closely with the Group and Data Quality teams on the development of business and technical standards management integrated with data delivery mechanisms. Leverage reference and master data services of to ensure core assets such as Product and Customer data is of a sustained high standard.
Develop target architecture to enable the efficient and rapid scaling of analytics across customer journey and business processes. Establish a costed roadmap of work and oversee transfer into delivery. Work closely with Data Science, platform and integration teams.
Support establishing the levels and minimum standards of the Data Capability Model and data initiative alignment/optimisation across markets. Ensure the end to end view is cohesive. Will need to work closely with the PMs. Classic EA role but with data expertise.
Develop target architecture for self-service operational Privacy and Governance incorporating process design, technical capabilities and operating model. Scope and evaluate current processes and capabilities across markets, identify and support platform selection and develop costed roadmap to transition process. Provide target data model for meta data and define KPIs, drive and oversee delivery and facilitate adoption. Work closely with users, Global Data Operations and Data Platform team to ensure on time delivery.
Support detailed cross market roadmap analysis
Experience:
- Candidates must have demonstrable experience within similar Enterprise Data Architecture roles with demonstrable expertise within Data Privacy/Governance and/or Data Quality Architecture
- Knowledge of Informatica Data Quality an advantage
- Experience of working within large, multi national Financial Services organisation
- High level of communication skills and stakeholder engagement are key
