ReactJS UI Developer
Required skills: React.JS, Redux, HTML5, solid JS, CSS, Automated Testing, Agile, CI/CD and a flair for UX design
Business Area: FX Trading - Single Dealer platform used by external users
The Team:
This is a highly talented and respected group that provides cutting edge solutions to the Front Office business in FX Trading. They work in an Agile way and follow good development practices around TDD, BDD and simple clean code.
The project:
A new greenfield project to move the platform that is used by external clients to a web based platform by leveraging the latest in web technologies. The new platform will provide fault tolerant and Real Time capabilities to external clients to trade FX products with added features and capabilities compared to the older platform.
The ideal candidate
The successful candidate will be an accomplished UI developer with strong experience in the fundamentals of web design and development, ideally from a background developing Real Time trading systems. Candidates from a non banking background will still be considered if they worked on large, Real Time, external facing and complex systems.
Required skills:
- Strong JS, HTML, CSS - Must have
- Strong React, Redux and related tools - Must have
- Automated testing and deployment - Must have
- UX design skills would be nice to have but not necessary
- Agile, TDD, BDD
- Good communication skills to present solutions to business users and ability to deal with tight deadlines and demanding stakeholders.
