Overview:

Contract developer to prototype tools and foundations for endpoint infrastructure management and services

Description:

Infrastructure security depends on the ability to authenticate, track, and configure endpoint devices throughout their life cycles. To that end, HP Labs is advancing the state of the art in robust and manageable foundations for infrastructure security tools and services. We are looking for a contract developer to support Labs researchers and business representatives to design and implement tools and capabilities that build on emerging trusted computing and device standards and innovate beyond those concepts. This includes creating mechanisms for generating, parsing, and evaluating system configurations, leveraging hardware roots of trust to securely report information, and integrating advanced protocols into client and service endpoints.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in systems programming, Scripting, and network programming preferred.
  • A basic understanding of cryptography, particularly public key/asymmetric cryptography.
  • Familiarity with UEFI, OpenSSL or similar libraries, and Trusted Computing concepts is a plus.
