Big Data Cloud Engineer (AWS, Cloudera)
Initial 6 months
500 per day - outside of IR35
North East - home based during Covid
We are working with a Global Consultancy who are running a massive data migration programme on site at a famous client, and looking for a Big Data Cloud Engineer to join the Data Team.
As a Big Data Cloud Engineer, you will:
- Liaise with data scientists, data analysts and decision makers such as product owners and business analysts to gather requirements
- Build scalable, reliable, maintainable, secure and high-performance data warehouse and data lake combo powering the analytical needs of the whole company
- Implement various data pipelines using cloud based big data technologies
Skills and experience required:
- Strong Big Data & Cloud expertise (ideally in AWS)
- Cloudera experience (nice to have)
- Strong analytical skills
- Cloud migration experience (nice to have)
