Solution Architect - Portal Solutions
Whitehall Resources are looking for an experienced Solution Architect for an initial 6-month contract in London. This role is currently remote.
After April, this role will fall inside IR35 and will require the use of an FCSA Accredited umbrella company.
It is essential that the suitable candidates have "recent, substantial, Portal solution architecture/design experience".
Activities
* To work on integrations between the client's and external agencies or other parts of the systems estate.
* Take on architecture, specification, or development tasks, working closely with other architects.
* Bring technical experience and knowledge to bear on the client's problem space.
* Ensure that workable solutions are produced in a timely manner and documented appropriately.
* Support the Architecture team in the selection of technology products.
* Support selected solutions through delivery, definition of standards, carrying out troubleshooting and other delivery activities as required.
Outcomes
* Solutions defined and agreed, including alignment with delivery increments.
* Integration technologies selected and agreed.
* Deliveries successfully produced consistent within defined architecture.
* Adherence to the client's Architecture governance standards.
Skills/Experience
* At least two technical project deliveries successfully completed (or equivalent experience).
* Ability to organise and work positively with colleagues (internal and external) to research information on the integration(s) in question, to define/implement solutions, etc.
* Familiarity with agile methodology and tools.
* Familiar with various deployment technologies, cloud, on-prem.
* Familiarity and ability to articulate knowledge and experience of integration technologies.
