UCS Engineer
Our client, a global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced UCS Engineer, to join their team in their clients' office in Swindon.
This is 12 months temporary contract, to start on 1st of February. Remote work may be possible until Covid abates
The right candidate will be responsible for coordinating with different vendors for resolving the problem according to the SLA and sending timely escalations to the higher levels in case of any discrepancies & follow up the same.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- 5+ UCS Support experience
- Good Knowledge in Cisco Blade, Rack Server Management
- Good Knowledge in Service Profile, Template Pool, Policy Management
- Good Knowledge in VLAN Creation and basic network troubleshooting
- Good Knowledge in Infrastructure/Host firmware upgrade
- Good Knowledge in CISCO UCS infrastructure installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting
- Communication & team member skills
- Coordinating with different Vendors for resolving the problem according to the SLA
- Sending timely escalations to the higher levels in case of any discrepancies
- Taking ownership of the issue and following through to resolution
