An Azure Data Engineer ( ADF/Databricks/Synapse ) is required to join my prestigious client, you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering cutting edge solutions on the Azure MS Data Platform.
As the Azure Data Engineer ( ADF/Databricks/Synapse ) you must have had recent experience with Azure as well as constantly developing technical skills using the latest Azure technologies.
The Azure Data Engineer ( ADF/Databricks/Synapse ) will be comfortable with stake holder engagement and take ownership for the delivery of key solution components
Essential Experience required for the successful Azure Data Engineer ( ADF/Databricks/Synapse ) include:
- Strong experience in Engineering cloud-based data platforms using a wide range of the Azure Services including Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory.
- Good knowledge of Azure Databricks and Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; with the ability to explain complex problems in a simple and effective manner.
- Strong peer and senior stakeholder management skills and engagement experience.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
Desirable Experience for the successful Azure Data Engineer ( Azure/SQL DW/SQL DB/Data Factory ) include:
- Good knowledge of Azure DevOps Pipelines and/or other tools for CI/CD eg Terraform, Jenkins
- Microsoft Azure Certified Data Engineer.
