Role: Regulatory/Risk Specialist - Mortgages
Location: London, Remote initially
Initial 6m contract
Daily Rate: Competitive - PAYE/Umbrella
Key Skills and Experience:
- The role requires a regulatory/risk specialist with experience of undertaking regulatory monitoring work.
- The work comprises the review of a sample of retail mortgage customers files (electronic files contained on the client's proprietary system) and listening to calls between customers and client staff.
- The candidate will be required to assess the extent to which required customer processes have been followed, customer treatment has been appropriate, records have been made appropriately and fair customer outcomes have been achieved.
- Experience/knowledge of retail mortgage regulation (MCOB) and regulatory principles regarding fair customer treatment.
- Identify potential failures or issues with regard to customer treatment and to write up draft findings for inclusion in a formal report.
Additional Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the UK without the need of visa support/sponsorship
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
