Finance Project Manager
12 month Contract - Inside IR35

A Pharmaceutical client is looking for a Finance Project Manager to come in on a 12 month contract. This role is a new role within the Group Financial Reporting team, where you'll tasked with providing expert support to the Senior Director-Group External Reporting, to enable delivery of the Group quarterly and year -end financial reporting requirements as well as supporting activities related to a significant acquisition opportunity in both the pre-acquisition and the post -acquisition phase.
The role will have interaction across the Group Financial reporting team, wider Finance community as well as external advisors, consultants and auditors. This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled finance professional to join a high performing team and support critical Group activities at a very exciting time for the company.
Essential for the role
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
- Significant experience of financial statement preparation
- IFRS technical expertise, with practical experience in M&A transactions
- Highly proficient in executive reporting - Board and audit committee papers, CFO briefing notes and external communications
Desirable for the role
- Financial audit/transactions/capital markets experience in a Big 4 audit firm
- Experience in regulatory filings on M&A activity eg circulars, prospectus
