Description
My client are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst for an initial 6 month contract based in Newport.
My client are currently going through a program to replace all existing Surfaces (1200+) with 16GB Surfaces. The successful candidates will be part of a team to deliver that outcome.
Key skills required:
- IT support work experience and strong knowledge of IT support processes
- Good understanding of Microsoft desktop operating systems
- Enthusiastic and keen to learn
- Proactive, hands-on approach, self-starter, able to take the initiative
- Strong inter-personal skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Good team player
- Highly structured, organised and meticulous approach to work, with strong analytical skills and a determined approach with an eye for detail.
- Concise approach to documentation with an emphasis on simplifying complex issues
- Ability to multi-task and balance this with the ability to consistently deliver solutions and proposals on time and to budget
- Strong self-motivation
Desirable Technical knowledge
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Microsoft qualification (MCP or equivalent)
- O365 Background
- Knowledge of Surfaces
