We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require IT Service Transition Manager for one of their public sector clients

Role: IT Service Transition Manager- Active SC required
Contract Length: funding until end of April, but will run on subject to approvals
Location: Corsham
IR35: In Scope

Minimum Requirement:

  • Understanding and previous experience of IT service definition/delivery and organisational change.
  • Must be able to Design, implement maintain robust transition plan(s) taking into consideration any business activities required to integrate new services into the 'business as usual' environment; Engage with all suppliers as required to complete production and approval service delivery documentation; Determine the readiness levels of the departments and exiting incoming suppliers and business users with regard to upcoming changes; Uncover readiness gaps and own action plans to close the gaps.
  • Assess risks inherent in proposed transitions, to ensure any potential scheduling and performance issues have minimum impact on provision of other services; Ensure all relevant department functions are fully engaged in the process and committed to supply resources to complete the transition plan; Arbitrate in situations of conflict; Seek out and tackle issues that will prevent the delivery of business benefits linked to services.
  • Summary of the project for Work Package 3 - to formally agree the Service Executive model, including codification and allocation of services to Service Executives/Service Owners. Generate and commence implementation of the Service Executive transition plan across all 1-star Delivery Teams. Codify the newly established Service Executives in line with local and service requirements. Agree Full Operating Capability organisational design in consultation with other Work Packages, and generate associated mobilisation plan. Support initial benefits mapping to maximise opportunities for early continual service improvement.
