Description
Category Manager urgently required to work on an initial 6 months contract.
Location: High Wycombe
The ideal candidate will have active SC security clearance, experience working within Central Government Department.
Responsibilities:
- Help to create a source of truth, data driven fact based which serves as a key document for both suppliers and customers.
- Support in data collection and analysis and liaising with other Commercial areas to gather information.
- Identify and prioritise category management opportunities, analysing spend data and focusing on those areas which will deliver an acceptable Return on Investment.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement in data capture.
- Supporting role to the Commercial Category Management Lead.
- Engagement with key stakeholders within the assigned Commercial area to educate and gather data to inform a Category Management Strategy Plan with a detailed Stakeholder Plan.
Experience:
- leading Category Management initiatives and analysing large sets of data to identify and recommend opportunities.
- Demonstrable stakeholder management and communication skills including in providing briefings to stakeholders.
- Experience of working within public sector environment.
Active SC Clearance required
