Cloud & Application Security Engineer

Marcus Donald are currently looking to source x2 Cloud & Application Security Engineers to join a team of 100 other internal Security specialists within a large Financials organisation in the heart of the banking district in Netherlands, Amstelveen.

Naturally remote working is available for the initial period however, the availability to work from the Amstelveen office in the near future is required.

Full sponsorship (EU) is available for the right person. Relocation assistance will also be supported by Marcus Donald People.

Working for a large financially organisation you will be joining the Application Security Monitoring team which consists of around 10 DevSecOps specialists.

Use Case automation is very important within this position therefore, your experience with SIEM tools is very important. Ideally Splunk and Sentinel (Sentinel exp is of course advantageous).

Application Security monitoring is of high importance however, having the experience and confidence around moving application from on-premise to Azure Cloud and the Security procedures behind this migration is priority. Working with multiple business lines will be very regularly therefore, strong communication (both verbal and written English) is non-negotiable.

Technical Skillsets Required:

• Use case design and development for application security
• SIEM systems like Splunk and/or Sentinel
• GIT, Linux, SPL, Splunk, Ansible
• CI/CD monitoring
• Scrum (3 week sprints)
• Security Automation
• Ability to demonstrate that with certifications, education, and/or working experience
• Strong Information Security background and clear understanding of possible application threats

Desirable Skillsets:

• Knowledge of Azure Log Analytics, KQL, Azure Sentinel and Azure DevOps
• DevSecOps background
