Job Role: Snr Network Engineer
Location: Cumbria (ONSITE)
Rate: £400 PD neg + expenses
Duration/Start: 6 months, Immediate Start
Essentials: Must hold current SC Security Clearance
Vertex IT Solutions is continuing to support one of its longstanding customers.
We have an immediate vacancy for a SC Cleared Network Engineer .
Key Responsibilities:
* Experience of Large Enterprise Networks
* Configuration of core infrastructure components (Switches, Routers, Firewalls etc).
* Provide 24x7 Standby & Support
Key Skills & Experience:
* The successful candidate will be qualified to Cisco CCNA level or vendor equivalent.
* Preferably be qualified to Cisco CCNP level or similar or working towards CCNP accreditation.
* Will be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of networks including network security, virtual private networking (VPN) converged networks and broadband technologies.
* Will have the ability to install, configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Voice network Infrastructures for enterprise organisations.
