SAP MDG Consultant - Remote (Home Based) - 6-12 months +
(SAP MDG, SAP Master Data Governance, SAP MDM, SAP Master Data)
One of our Blue Chip Clients is looking for a SAP MDG Consultant.
For this role you can work full time remotely from home.
Responsibilities
- Have a holistic view of how the solution adds value and ties into the defined business outcomes
- Leading and Facilitating MDM requirements gathering across multiple domains such as Product, Customer and Financial objects
- Utilize the master data management capabilities to simplify and automate business processes
- Realize the maximum potential of MDG, Workflow Development, customizing approval workflows for parallel and multi-level approvals
- Provide options for how the solution could be evolved to provide even more value
- Translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable and scalable solution design according to existing architecture guard rails
- Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative design options which take target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems into account
- Build the simplest possible solution that fulfils user needs as well as meets functional, compliance and quality requirements
- Drive testing and deployment of software solutions, including ensuring automated testing to ensure solution quality
- Build and operate infrastructure, toolset and deployment pipelines
- Identify and share best practices with other teams as well as produce necessary documentation
- Make sure to deliver solutions on time and identify and eliminate potential waste (eg unnecessary documentation, inefficient methodologies etc.)
Skills and abilities
Mandatory requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with SAP MDG Development.
- Ability to Configuring SAP MDG solution as per functional specification
- Understanding of SAP ECC and/or S4/Hana, machine learning etc.
- Ability to train the users
- Ability to perform early analysis including positioning of capabilities in the system landscape as well as presenting alternative solution options and technical choices
- Ability to create database design and models used as part of the software solutions
- Ability to comprehend the different architectural viewpoints and identify and understand their dependencies
- Ability to design and build high-performing and secure software solutions according to the customer needs with given tools and languages
- Ability to apply leading software development practices and standards to develop robust and maintainable software
- Ability to code in functional programming languages and build distributed, scalable and resilient solutions
- Ability to test and deploy software solutions, including ability to design and build advanced automated build, test, and release' infrastructure
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineers in other Product or Enabling engineering teams to solve and reduce technical dependencies
Qualifying:
- Has worked in global projects with experience in collaboration with offshore development
- Experience from working in an agile context
