Description
My client are searching for a DevOps Engineer who specialises in Data Engineering and AIOps. The DevOps Engineer will need to understand modern DevOps practices used to maintain a containerized microservices architecture spanning the globe. As the client are a data analytics company we want to enhance our analytics capability of data generated by our IT environment.
Essential skills:
- Specialising in observability to implement platform wide
- Building effective monitoring & telemetry on a Cloud Native platform using tools such as Prometheus, Alert Manager, Grafana
- Kubernetes preferably EKS
- Cloud platform experience AWS & Azure
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- DevSecOps - integrating strong security practices into DevOps culture
- Scripting (Bash/Go/Python)
- AI/Machine learning Platform experience
Desirable skills:
- EKS Administration
- Cloud/Cloud Native Networking
- Cloud/Cloud Native Security
- Experience of supporting distributed systems
Nice to have
- Gitops
- CI/CD
- Kubernetes templating tools
- IAC testing, Terratest or similar
- ElasticSearch
- Kafka
- Linux Admin
- GCP experience
