Senior Information Security Analyst - Initial 3 months Contract - Remote - up to £450/day - depending on experience
We are looking for an experienced Senior Information Security Analyst, who will work alongside IT and Security Operations teams to perform daily security tasks. The main aim of this role is to assist with security projects to protect internal IT infrastructure, networks and data.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Fulfil the role of Security Operations lead and be able to manage/prioritise security incidents
- Develop security operations tooling, use cases and embed detection and incident response
- Review and refine operational security policies/systems where required
- Continuously analyse and make recommendations to implement effective security controls
- Assist with timely security incident investigation to recover service in complex cross-technology environments
Essential:
- Strong understanding of security operations and IT operations
- Detailed knowledge of security operations, SIEM, monitoring, correlation and use case generation
- Knowledge of ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials
