An industry leading investment bank are currently recruiting a Java Developer to join their dynamic team to work on their up and coming trading systems. The trading system in question is the main driver for business growth and is the next best thing within the industry.
The ideal candidate would have had good experience of working on trading systems in previous roles and are able to develop excellent, well-engineered Java components as well as being able to programme clear, structured code.
This is a highly visible, client facing and heavily technical position which means the successful candidate will have to be proficient in technologies such as Java, SQL, Akka, SVN and Jira.
The candidate will gain exposure to all business areas as well as good knowledge of the industry's leading products.
The candidate must also be able to work in a highly dynamic environment with demanding users.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Essential:
- Core Java experience
- Previous trading platform experience
- RFQ and workflow automation
- Proven ability of developing high performance, Real Time, reliable trading systems.
- Understanding of threading and debugging
- Understanding of design patterns
- Akka or surrounding experience.
