Senior Data Architect - Remote
A financial organisation is seeking a Senior Data Architect that has broad knowledge and experience in database technology space and experience in the technology selection process to join their team.
As the Senior Data Architect, you be responsible for planning and evaluating of database architecture and technologies for a DataHub solution; gathering and analysing user requirements; identify database technology options and evaluate them based on that requirements; propose the target option.
Skills and Experience
* Relational databases such as SQL Server and/or Oracle or PostgreSQL
* NoSQL databases of different types eg key-value or document
* Cloud databases such as Azure Cosmos DB
* Previous experience in evaluation and design of architectures for data-driven solutions
* Experience in technology selection for large enterprises
* Ability to communicate complex technical matters to a business audience in plain language
* Previous experience in the implementation of cloud technologies (eg Azure, GCP etc.)
* Previous experience in the Financial Services business domains
* English language, spoken and written - German or French languages a bonus
