Infrastructure Consultant - 6 months - £400 -£440 - Inside IR35

Looking for a Infrastructure Consultant to provide infrastructure service transition activities across a global enterprise. The ideal candidates will have a strong skill set in the planning, delivery and governance of large-scale projects and solutions. To help drive the projects and support our customer at various stages in their transition journey they should be specialists in three or more specific technology areas with the ability to work across other technologies or be a strong generalist with proven technical delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical expert for driving projects forward from concept to delivery for all M&A activities
  • Migrate on-prem physical and virtual systems to Azure Cloud solutions
  • Migrate Exchange mailboxes to Office 365
  • Work from HLD & LLD to build new environments and resources.
  • Microsoft Intune administration
  • Active Directory and Azure Active Directory administration
  • Ensure the transition is fully supported within IT Operations and fully aligned to the IT Architecture roadmap.
  • Work closely with our infrastructure & security teams to ensure new environments adhere to our standards
  • Work closely with our technology partners to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
  • Create and maintain infrastructure related documentation and procedures as needed
  • Effectively collaborate with stakeholders to gain collective buy-in on architecture strategies

Required Skills

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent experience
  • Experience with VMWare ESXi and vCenter preferred
  • Experience with network devices
  • Familiarity with Intune and SCCM
  • Experience with Windows Server Support, PowerShell, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP required
  • Experience managing complex Active Directory environments
  • Experience with Office365 (AAD Connect, ADFS, SharePoint Online, Teams)
  • The ability to research and independently identify answers and acquire new technical skills
  • Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects and adhering to deadlines
  • Passionate about technology, and has interest in emerging tools, trends, and techniques across the industry
