Service Design Manager (Microsoft Cloud) - 6 month contract - £600 per day inside IR35 - Leeds/Remote
the Bridge IT are currently recruiting for a contract Microsoft Office 365 Service Design Manager to work on a contract basis for initially 6 months paying circa £600 per day depending on experience inside IR35. The role will be remote working/a few days in the clients office based in central Leeds.
My client are looking for someone to come in on a contract basis to support the transition to Microsoft Cloud based services through a design led approach. You will be responsible for the Service and Support by ensuring the clear definition of the services offered. Previous experience of a customer experience approach is essential for this contract role, you must have experience of customer experienced projects and exposure to creating the service within this environment.
Key areas of the role and experience you need:
- To define and support the implementation of Service Models for the onboarding of Microsoft Office 365 Services.
- To define and support the implementation of a Service Model for the Microsoft Azure platform.
- To work with Service Transition Manager(s) to ensure that all service related products are defined and scoped for delivery.
- To support Service Architecture in maturing service design approach including input to various Architecture reviews & working groups including the adoption of the Service Delivery Principles .
- To support the adoption of Customer Experience focus, thinking and adoption of CX related service performance measures across the Service Lifecycle (inc. Project Delivery Framework) ensuring these are reflected in designs.
- Drive the adoption of emerging capabilities (inc. DevOps) in service designs, actively collaborating with and seeking the expansion of these capabilities to improve service performance as a result.
For this contract role you will need experience in a similar role in a large scale service migration to O365/Azure. Customer experience focused is essential. You will need to be able to work in an ITIL environment, you will need to be able to lead in an agile/waterfall environment and be able to build relationships with senior stakeholders to help collaborate to get the project delivered.
