Description

Badenoch + Clark's NHS client in the North of England requires an Information/Business Intelligence Analyst for an initial three month contract. The vast majority of the work will be based from home, rates are negotiable dependent on skills and experience (but likely to be in between £250 - £300 per day) and will be OUTSIDE of IR35.

The successful candidate will be joining a project team focused on the centralisation and consolidation of NHS clinical and corporate reporting requirements across the NHS organisation.

Some of the key responsibilities for the position will include:

- Extracting, interrogating and analysing performance data in SQL Server
- Production of reporting dashboards, using tools such as Power BI or SSRS
- Troubleshooting issues with existing SSRS reports
- Interrogation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Data validation and providing guidance on data and reporting improvement requirements
- Benchmarking of KPI and performance metrics

In order to be considered, candidates will ideally have as much of the following skills and experience as possible:

- A knowledge and understanding of NHS reporting requirements, NHS data standards and definitions.
- Good understanding of NHS data sets and processes such as SUS and CDS
- Good understanding of NHS performance monitoring systems
- A knowledge of Patient Administration Systems and other clinical systems
- Competent in use of SQL to interrogate data sets
- Experience of reporting dashboards such as Power BI/Qlikview/Tableau/Excel
- Prior experience of NHS BI Analysis, Data Sets and Report Development
