Data Business Analyst (SQL Data Business Analysis Bloomberg Data Licence Per Security Front Office Trading Finance Reference Data AWS Python Markit EDM Cadis Eagle PACE Asset Manager Investment Management Buy Side Hedge Fund) required by our asset manager in London.
You MUST have the following:
- Very strong experience as a Business Analyst/Business Analysis
- Excellent ability to work with data and examples of projects where you have delivered data centric systems as a business analyst
- Good ability to query in SQL
- Strong experience, in the last 5 years, of the buy side- asset management, investment management, fund management
- Bloomberg Data Licence (Back Office/Per Security)
The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:
- Reference data- such as security ratings, credit scores, classifications
- AWS
- Python
- Markit EDM/Cadis/Eagle PACE
Role: Data Business Analyst (SQL Data Business Analysis Bloomberg Data Licence Per Security Front Office Trading Finance Reference Data AWS Python Markit EDM Cadis Eagle PACE Asset Manager Investment Management Buy Side Hedge Fund Contract Contractor Consultant) required by our asset manager in London. You will be joining a team of ten and working towards the delivery of a single source of truth for securities reference data. You will be working directly with business stakeholders to take their requirements and oversee delivery from the software engineering teams. In order to do this, you will have an excellent background as a Business Analyst from the buy side. You will be very comfortable with data and using SQL or Python to manipulate or extract data. You will be extremely familiar with Bloomberg Data Licence, whether Back Office or Per Security. The development team are working heavily with AWS and Python so, although these are not essential skills in order to apply to the role, they would be highly advantageous.
