Description

We are heading up a recruitment drive on behalf of a global consultancy that require a Tooling Governance SME to join them on a major banking project.
The Agile TOM Tooling Governance SME will be responsible for:
Defining the roadmap of enhancements in our agile tools and represent the needs of GBGF stakeholders.
Work alongside the Governance chapter to formulating visions and plans to support the needs of GBGF pilots across bank.
Determine ways to optimize and improve Governance process workflows and identify where functionality can or cannot meet GBGF requests.
Setting up an Agile governance model across Technology
Incorporating new ways of Agile working into existing governance forums/processes
Preparation of Quarterly Business Review collateral
MI/reporting into senior level governance forums
Investment tracking and benefit reporting
Executing against the Operating Rhythm and Governance Calendar
The scope of the role therefore includes:
Engagement with stakeholders and maintenance of working relationships with key contacts in the IT PPM and the wider Technology community 
The role involves facing-off to senior stakeholders in the course of eliciting requirements, setting expectations, syndicating outputs and providing preparatory materials for Executive forums.
Key Activities & Decision Making Areas:
Agile Governance Model
Working with W/S Leads to ensure tooling, training, methodologies align with the governance wokrstream
Technology reporting into various forums
The ideal candidate would be expected to have:
- 8 or more years of governance experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Services/Banking environment
- Experience supporting an Agile Transformation/or working in Agile environment
- Prior experience of rolling out Agile tools (Jira, Rally or Clarity) is beneficial
- Prior experience of Scaled Agile, Lean Portfolio Management is beneficial
- Project Management skills (project planning and delivery tracking; issue identification and management; project status reporting)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, Group standard tools (Clarity, SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA)
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders of all levels (internal as well as external)
- Ability to work to strict deadlines, under pressure and deal with conflicting priorities
- Excellent decision making and problem solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
