Field Engineer - Transformation Project - Lan/WIFI (meraki)
Can be based anywhere near Newcastle, Manchester, & Leeds. Roles will be local to one of these regions
Multiple positions
Responsibilities:
- Traveling to nationwide customer sites for break-fix and chargeable incidents
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues
- Assisting in project work
- Installing and migrating customer networking equipment
- Ensuring the highest level of customer service is provide
- Transformation Project - Lan/WIFI (meraki)
- CCNA Skill set - WIFI not essential
- Normal business hours/will be some out of hours for post site activity (5 days after transformation)
- Engineers will be Responsible for Site Survey & Transformation activities
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
A high level of technical skills is essential for this role, with a fundamental understanding of Networking - CCNA Certified is essential
Essential
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Highly self-motivated and customer focused
- Strong experience in producing documentation/site surveys
- Strong networking troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Infrastructure experience
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Confident decision-maker and able to demonstrate sound judgement
Desirable
- Cisco CCNA
