Technical Business Analyst - Retail - Oracle Retail Price Management - Contract
My client, an international retailer, are looking to bring on an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join them on an initial 6 month contract.
*Please note this role will be INSIDE OF IR35*
Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of the existing system and application landscape as a building block for future solutions with a particular focus on Retail Price Management (centrally and locally with in Stores).
- Work with an internal and external team to help shape the landscape and solutions that will allow the business to achieve their strategic goals.
- Using interviews, workshops, documentation reviews, business analysis and business process evaluations to gather business requirements.
- Work with and challenge business units on their assumptions to help deliver solutions for their current and future needs.
- Work with information gathered from multiple sources, evaluate true business requirement from user request and ensure that proposed solution is reconciled with all business inputs, and resolve business conflicts as required.
- Draw requirements together into Functional Requirements Documents using existing templates, diagrams, process flows and scenarios so that the resulting document will be meaningful to the intended users.
Essential experience:
- Prior experience as a BA or Functional Consultant working with Oracle Retail Price Management (RPM)
- Exposure to store business processes and the wider Oracle Retail application suite would be beneficial but not essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience in related field
- Technology experience in communications applications
- Demonstrated experience of gathering requirements and converting them into a product vision.
- Experience of the elements of a Project Management role and an understanding of PMO requirements.
- Possess analytical skills to interpret customer needs and translate into application and operational requirements.
