Description
Realtime Recruitment has partnered with a large Financial Services client in Ireland who is on the lookout for an experienced Data Engineer to join their Data team on a fully remote, 6 month daily rate contract.
Working alongside key business stakeholders and business users, the successful candidate will take part in creating, implementing and supporting data solutions that will provide critical financial data for the business with the end goal being a fully automated process providing critical financial data to the Technical and Financial Reporting teams
What you will need:
- 4+ years experience with SQL
- 2+ years experience of the Azure Platform
- ETL and Datamodelling experience
- Experience in big data Hadoop ecosystem
- Power BI experience
- Programming knowledge in Scala or Python
- Highly skilled with Hive & Impala
- Experience in the development of continuous development/integration pipelines using Jenkins
- Experience within the Financial Services industry a big plus
