Director of User Experience (Freelance)

InterQuest are partnering a well-known Digital Agency and we are looking for a UX Director to join them on a freelance basis for initially 3 months. The ideal candidate will have experience acting as a UX Director with a strong interest in the design and development of engaging user experiences.
Knowledge & Experience:
- A proven understanding of interaction design concepts, usability, and accessibility guidelines
- Strong logic and problem-solving skills
- Develop sitemaps, user flows and wireframes that effectively anticipate audience needs while accomplishing our clients' business needs and goals
- Work closely with designers and developers to create highly functional, user-focused templates and prototypes
- Analyze target audiences and their informational and functional needs
- Have a strong understanding of responsive design and can create deliverables for multiple platforms, including desktop, mobile and tablet (iOS, Android and websites)
- Carry out user testing and provide recommendations based on results
Software and Applications experience
- Expertise in Sketch to produce wireframes, UX design patterns and component toolkits
- Experience of using InVision or similar fast-paced prototyping platforms
- Experience of working with other supporting design software including Axure RP, OmniGraffle and Adobe Creative Suite
- Sound knowledge of the latest Front End technologies: HTML, CSS, Jquery, etc. and how these can be used to enhance the user experience
