Information enterprise Security Architect - Birmingham
This is a senior role creating a bridge between cyber security systems and enterprise architecture. Our client is looking for 5 years + experience in security architecture and good stakeholder experience able to operate at board level.
We'd like to see people from varying backgrounds apply, you will have worked in large and complex infrastructure projects.

SC clearance highly desirable
Languages: ENGLISH only.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 5+ years of experience in Information Security, especially in a Security Architect role.
- Excellent stakeholder management
- A least 3 years of experience with regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks (eg ISO27000,COBIT,NIST 800 ETC)
- Good technical expertise in existing and upcoming security and IT systems - MS, cloud applications SAS, PAS,SDI
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field (eg IT Audit, Enterprise Risk Management etc.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) or equivalent
Description of work:
- Enterprise roadmap, principles, standards, transition architectures.
- Review existing security architecture, identify design gaps, and recommend security enhancements.
- Provide guidance on current and emerging security threats and design security architecture to mitigate them.
- Stay abreast of emerging security technologies and integrate them into security architecture as needed.
- Ensure alignment between security architecture frameworks and standards and overall business strategy.
- Serves as an information security expert and trusted advisor to partners in IT and the business.
