Description
Outsource UK are currently working with a Manufacturing Company who are seeking a Data Analyst for a 12 month contract based in Peterborough (based remote for first few months).
The candidate will be required to go through Umbrella or PAYE.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Data analysis support to the Purchasing team
- Looking at and consolidating the metrics
- The company currently have a number of facilities in scope and control and need the metrics to be consolidated by a product group and division by 'cutting' it different ways to give customers a wider view.
- Responsible for pulling together metrics, data and views and look at how they're performing from a cost perspective.
- Consolidation and reporting of Purchasing department metrics
- Consolidation and reporting of material cost impact
- Tracking Bill of material cost movement by month
- Cost plan by engine platform
- Supplier financial assessments - analytics
Skills Required
- Strong data analysis background
- Able to pull data and information from different sources
- Technical skills using SAP and PowerBI
- Previously worked in a purchasing background is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills able to liaise with diverse teams across countries.
