We're a growing consultancy looking for a highly-skilled and senior tester to work on-site with a Government client in south London (currently remote working). You will be part of a major transformation programme that will impact people across the country in many positive ways.

Are you an excellent tester with a solid technical background who enjoys cutting code and testing every single day?

Technical Skills and Experience you will need to have:

  • Significant Java experience, if you who have previously worked as a developer that is ideal.
  • At least some JavaScript experience.
  • Testing and web applications with Cypress and JavaScript ES6.
  • Tooling like JMeter/Gatling, ZAProxy, Pa11y/AxE, JAWS, Dragon and Wave.
  • Working in a Continuous Integration environment is a requirement, experience of Continuous Delivery or Deployment is even better.

It will be Advantageous if you have:

  • Experience with modern Ruby applications.
  • Worked on a project assessed by the Government Digital Service (GDS).
  • Worked collaboratively and effectively in DevOps environments.
  • Completed the Rapid Software Testing course.
  • Experience of Test Charters/Session Based Testing.

Other Skills you should have:

  • Experience of working in an agile way including running Three Amigos/Power of Three/Story Kick-offs.
  • Hands-on testing experience with a capability to push for and help the team to understand non-functional testing.
  • Leading delivery teams to understanding what to test, what to automate and how to deliver quality software.
