Senior Fullstack Developer

Fully remote, although must be working within the UK

6 month contract initially

£525 - £625 (Inside IR35)

I am looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer with strong JavaScript, TypeScript and Nodejs experience to join an initial 6 month project, you will be working within the scrum that develops within one of the fastest growing providers. As you will be part of the digital/streaming team having streaming and/or video experience is a great bonus!

Although this project will be a greenfield opportunity, using cutting edge technologies whilst delivering as part of an agile environment, there will also be an element of maintaining and amending to the current platform.

The key responsibility for you is to develop excellent quality software using agile techniques such as Test Driven Development and Pair Programming, automated, multi-layer testing.

Required key skills:

• Expert in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Strong TypeScript commercial experience
• Strong Nodejs commercial experience
• Proof of TDD
• API/Microservices experience is a bonus
• GraphQL experience is a bonus
• AWS experience is a bonus
• Video/Streaming experience is really beneficial
• Experience with optimising web applications in areas such as performance, security and resiliency
• You will initiate and actively participate in pair programming
• Great team player and ability to help coach and mentor junior members of the team

This role will be fully remote although they do require you to be within the UK and able to attend the rare meeting in London.
